Maui Sport Fishing Charters

Troll for mahi mahi, ono, and ahi (standup harness). Deep water & inshore jigging is available for more experienced anglers. Seasonal live bait fishing (Oct-Mar) is also possible, however this is rarely offered during the summer. The captain will determine the most appropriate style of fishing for the day based on several factors including season, weather conditions, and skill level. The captain will clean and fillet your catch if desired.

Frequently caught species include gray snapper (uku), amberjack (kahala), giant trevally (ulua), dorado (mahi-mahi), wahoo (ono), yellowfin, skipjack tuna (ahi)

Vessel Details

  • Kimmy V is a 28′ True Marine, complete with cuddy cabin and enclosed marine head
  • Typical departure location is Ka’anapali Beach, in front of Whaler’s Village
  • Kimmy V is ideal for longer offshore charters of 6, 7, and even 8 hours, though she can be booked for 4 and 5-hour inshore, lighter tackle fishing charters too
